'Two-Tiered Justice'

According2Sam #217

When Joe Biden was a senator in the early 1990's he supported a mandatory minimum prison sentence of five years for anyone caught with a piece of crack cocaine the size of a quarter. He didn't care if they had a problem with addiction, or how much their father loved them. It was five years in jail. "Judge doesn't even have a choice", he boasted in a speech from the Senate floor. Ironically, his son would later become a crack addict. He has photographed and recorded himself in possession of much more crack than a piece the size of quarter, but while many other Americans had to serve mandatory jail-time imposed by Joe Biden, his son has never spent a day in jail for possession of crack. What are some examples of a two-tiered justice system in America? Join the conversation and get answers to this question and more on According2Sam episode #217.
